Watch Living Colour and Alex Skolnick from Testament Cover Jimi Hendrix’s “Crosstown Traffic”

Living Colour have been covering Jimi Hendrix’s classic “Crosstown Traffic” for years and years now — they first recorded it for the 1993’s Stone Free: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix — but a recent performance of the song on the Shiprocked cruise was extra super-duper special, ’cause Testament’s Alex Skolnick joined the band onstage. Watching Skolnick and fellow guitar god Vernon Reid trade solos is just as thrilling as you’d imagine. If someone can figure out a way to get a Testament/Living Colour tour going, I would not object.
