Westfield Massacre (a.k.a. Divine Heresy 2.0) Release New Song + Live Dates
To date, I have not been very kind to Westfield Massacre, the new band featuring former Divine Heresy members Tommy Vext (vox) and Tim Yeung (drums) a Bill Hudson (guitars) from Jon Oliva’s Pain. So you should take me seriously when I admit that, hey, their new song, “Respect Resistance,” is actually really good! The band is still way behind on current trends — they sound like they’d be on the Ozzfest second stage circa 2004/5 — but whatever: the song is catchy as fuck! If they had been on the Ozzfest second stage circa 2004/5, I’m sure they would have been very well-received. There’s still no word on a release date for the band’s debut release, but if the rest of is it this good, I’ll be on board.
Crank this shit, yo:

Meanwhile, the band has announced five live dates, which, if I’m not mistaken, are their first. Given the talent involved, it’s not hard to imagine the band putting on a live show — if you’re able to attend one of these, hit us up after and let us know what you thought. Here are the dates, courtesy of Metal Injection:
01/16 – RocBar – Scottsdale, AZ
01/17 – Hood Bar – Palm Desert, CA
01/18 – Adrenaline Sports Bar – Las Vegas, NV
01/28 – Brick By Brick – San Diego, CA
01/29 – Whisky A Go Go – Hollywood, CA
