Joey Jordison’s Scar the Martyr Featuring Joey Jordison May Soon Be Scarring New Martyrs
Now that Slipknot have successfully made their comeback without Joey Jordison, isn’t it about time that Joey Jordison tried to make his comeback without Slipknot? We haven’t heard a peep out of Jordison or his originally-pre-but-now-post-Slipknot-firing project, Scar the Martyr, since April of last year, when the band publicly solicited new vocalist auditions following the departure of Henry Derek Bonner.
But now it looks like they’re doing… uh… something! And presumably, based on these photos, that something involves studio time:
Since the pics include one of a mic, I’m guessing the band has found their new vocalist, too. But who could it be??? If I were Jordison, I’d probably go out of my way to try and score someone of note, ’cause, well… people often have trouble transitioning after leaving/being fired from famous bands. It took the Guns N’ Roses dudes a decade and as of this writing Jason Newsted has vanished into thin air. Not everyone can be David Lee Roth (and even his solo career went south eventually).
Presumably, all mysteries will be solved soon.
