Things Audio Engineers Say in the Studio

We somehow missed this video from MS fave Jared Dines when it was released last year (presumably as an intended companion piece to his “Things Metal Vocalists Say” video). But, as per usual with Mr. Dines’ work, it’s dead on — so I felt compelled to share it.

I also appreciate that it’s even-handed! It does have some fun with how frustrating it can be for an engineer to work with a shitty band, but it also has fun at the engineer’s expense. Engineers tend to be the bullies, not the bullied, but let’s be real: there are stupid assholes in every profession.
