Two Updates from Christopher Amott’s Armageddon: a Tour and a Video
First thing’s first: if you haven’t listened to new music from Christopher Amott’s reactivated band Armageddon yet, you’re very late to the party. I have nothing but respect for Arch Enemy and love their catalogue to death, but at this point in their career it seems as if Christopher’s ideas are way more fresh and adventurous than his brother Michael’s.
So it’s with great anticipation that I look forward to Armageddon’s upcoming U.S. tour, their first ever despite being a band for over 15 years (given, it’s been a decade since they released anything). It’s only got 9 dates and it’s limited to the Northeast (the band is based out of NYC now), but it’s a great opportunity to see these dudes shred before they hit the touring circuit at large. ex-Nightrage singer Antony Hamalainen has been recruited as the vocalist this time around. Dates below.
Also: the band just wrapped up filming for a proper music video! Metal Injection got an exclusive look behind the scenes of that shoot, and you can watch that report below.
