Marilyn Manson Releases New Song, “Cupid Carries a Gun”

Marilyn Manson has released yet another single from his new album, The Pale Emperor. This one is called “Cupid Carries a Gun” — Mr. Manson never runs out of innovative words to take nice suburban ideals and make them scary to old people! — and like the album’s previous singles, “Deep Six” and “Third Day of a Seven Day Binge,” it suggests that Emperor will be better than the last couple of Manson albums, but not as good as his mid/late 90s output. So, uh… yeah. Hey, look: it won’t be the worst thing you hear today.
