Exclusive Track Premiere: Periphery’s “Graveless”
HAPPY (early) NEW YEAR! Periphery’s dual releases, Juggernaut: Alpha and Juggernaut: Omega, are two of the most anticipated metal albums of 2015… and they’re less than a month away! Sumerian will release both albums on January 27 (pre-order ’em here), shortly after the band kicks off their tour with Nothing More, Wovenwar and Thank You Scientist (dates here) — thereby ensuring that 2015 is going to be a very good year for all of us ‘Riphery fans.
So please allow us to kick off the celebration a little early and provide the soundtrack to all your champagne poppin’ n’ chuggin’: MetalSucks’ final track premiere of 2014 is a very special one indeed! “Graveless” will appear on Juggernaut: Omega, and demonstrates all the qualities that have made Periphery a favorite of fans and critics alike: heavy, melodic, a little bit funky, and featuring a guitar solo which is, dare we say it, downright jazzy, “Graveless” is as musically adventurous and ambitious as anything the band has ever recorded. We love it, and we’re confident that you will, too! You can stream it below. Make sure you blast that shit loud, son!!!
ALSO: Periphery guitarist / MetalSucks comment troll Misha Mansoor and bassist / recording guru Adam “Nolly” Getgood participated in a live Q&A yesterday on Toontrack’s Facebook page. Fans asked the wizards behind Periphery’s studio efforts all about using Toontrack gear, recording, mixing and, of course, Juggernaut — check out their answers here.
