Artificial Brain’s New Computer Animated Music Video is Super Trippy
Artificial Brain’s viciously gorgeous Labyrinth Constellation easily could’ve made my Best of 2014 list; probably should have, even. Tough cuts had to be made, and I’ll be the first to admit that the album’s early-year release didn’t help; as much as we try to equally weigh the albums that came out 10 and 11 months ago against the ones that made their way onto our playlists in the past few weeks, the older ones often get the short shrift. So: sorry, I suck!
Thankfully the ‘Brain got plenty of year-end love elsewhere — right here on MetalSucks and on Spin, to name a couple.
They also just released a brand new music video via No Clean Singing for the track “Absorbing Black Ignition,” the audio for which MetalSucks premiered right here back in January. This one’s a computer animated affair created by Tim Mearini — who’s done work for the band in the past — and it takes us through a mesmerizing landscape of an extra-terrestrial world far, far away, in perfect concert with the interstellar themes in the band’s lyrics.
