New Bloodbath Video for “Church of Vastitas” is Creepy, Dark, and Grim

We’ve been hearing a lot from Bloodbath — now featuring Paradise Lost’s Nick Holmes on vocals — of late. So far they’ve released “Famine of God’s Word” and “Grand Morbid Funeral,” two ripping new songs from their forthcoming album Grand Morbid Funeral.

Until then you’ll have to make due by reading our official review and by jamming yet another new song, “Church of Vastitas,” for which a music video was just released. Fittingly enough, given the band’s new vocalist, this jam sounds vaguely Paradise Lost-y — it’s still death metal at its core, but it’s a more slowed down, wicked and dark version. Appropriately, the video is the same way: creepy as fuck. Watch it below.
