Marilyn Manson is The Pale Emperor
We already knew that Marilyn Manson was prepping a new album, and we know that that new album will be called The Pale Emperor, and will be released on January 27. That same date is already earmarked for new releases from Napalm Death and Periphery, though, so, personally, I may not get around to listening to The Pale Emperor until, at earliest, never. Assuming The Pale Emperor is as stimulating as Manson’s last couple of albums, this will surely not be one of the great regrets of my life.
Here’s the cover art for The Pale Emperor, which is actually pretty cool. It looks like an ad for some designer I don’t know, don’t care about, and would never be able to afford anyway:
Rumors that The Pale Emperor is actually part one of a two-part concept album, the second of which is called The Well-Tanned Peasant, have yet to be confirmed.
Listen to a new Manson song, “Third Day of a Seven Day Binge,” below. Don’t worry about time management, there’s no new Napalm Death song to listen to right now anyway.
