Stream Usnea’s Random Cosmic Violence in Full Right Now

I’m really into Portland-based doom-bringers* Usnea; I’ve already waxed ecstatic about two of their new songs, and I’m not really quite sure what else can be said about their new album Random Cosmic Violence that I haven’t already said. Simply put, Usnea are that rare doom band that can write cinematic, epic pieces full of drama that are ALSO memorable songs.

*Side note: why is it that bands that play doom are always labeled as “bringers”? Where all the black metal-bringers and metalcore-bringers at?
