Comedian Margaret Cho Commissions New Piece from Triptykon Artist Vincent Castiglia

Looks like comedian Margaret Cho is the latest non-metal celebrity we can add to the “Metal as Fuck” list: according to TMZ, she recently commissioned a piece by artist Vincent Castiglia — the dude who paints in his own blood, and contributed art to Triptykon’s debut album. But Cho didn’t want Castiglia to produce the piece using his own blood, the way he normally does… no no no. She had Castiglia produce the piece using her blood — 72 milliliters of her blood, to be exact. And as if that wasn’t metal enough, well… uh… guess what else TMZ says?

“Cho wanted Castiglia to use her menstrual blood … but he pulled the plug because her production level was woefully deficient.”

Which might be the first time in history a woman has ever thought, “Damn! I wish my period got a heavier flow.”
