Video: How to Record Heavy Bass

Glenn Fricker is many things. He’s the big chief at Canada’s Spectre Sound Studios; he’s a contributor to our sister site, Gear Gods; but most of all, he’s a friend to bass players everywhere. Few producers or engineers in this business hold bassists in such high regard, and handle them with Glenn’s gentle touch.

So, unsurprisingly, Glenn has now released a video entitled “How to Record Heavy Bass,” in which he teaches the viewer how to, like, record heavy bass and stuff. Alas, he does not tell you where you can find a bass player with more active brain cells than strings on his instrument, but cut the guy some slack, he can’t do everything for you.
