Devil You Know’s Video for “It’s Over” is Romantic

“It’s Over” is one of the strongest songs on Devil You Know’s debut, The Beauty of Destruction; I’m sure Howard Jones and the rest of the band would hate me describing the song this way, but it seems pretty clear that it’s the group’s bid to have their own “End of Heartache”/”Arms of Sorrow”-type hit. I have no problem with that, though, ’cause I happen to like those songs.

So I’d be stoked that they made a video for the track regardless. But I’m twice as stoked because of the video’s storyline, which documents the doomed, star-crossed romance between two Asian cosplayers. Given that we were just at New York Comic Con a few weeks ago, this one hit pretty close home for me.
