Sixty Seconds of a New Anthrax Song Sounds Promising

Speaking of Knotfest: Anthrax were one of the many bands that aren’t Slipknot to play this past weekend’s event. And during their performance, they preceded “I Am the Law” with roughly a minute of a new song from the album on which they are currently working. And it sounded pretty good! Super-thrashy and continuing very much in the vein of Worship Music. Of course, the full track will eventually be saddled with Joey Belladonna vocals, but, hey, no song is perfect.

Fingers crossed, Anthrax’s new album will come out next year. It will have drums.
