Exclusive Cinemetal Premiere: Kruger’s “Adam and Steve”
“Adam and Steve,” the new single from Switzerland’s Kruger, is more than just an awesome metal song — although it certainly is that. It’s also a righteous satirical jab at right-wing homophobes who use that phrase as part of a slogan for their moronic propaganda. And now, it’s also also the soundtrack to one of the most fun, creative music videos of the year, which, oh hey, we just so happen to be debuting today on MetalSucks!
The incredibly entertaining clip utilizes raw meat, apples, and stop-motion animation to create a cinematic interpretation of the song which is wholly appropriate; the visual metaphors are memorable, funny, and yet, for the most part, not too on the nose. If only every metal video was this rad!
Check out “Adam and Steve” below. It’s the title track from Kruger’s new album, which is out now on Listenable. Get it here!
