Watch: Seven- and Ten-Year-Old Japanese Brothers Reign Over Slayer’s “Raining Blood”
Meet Hayato (drums) and his brother, Subaru (vocals). Hayato is ten, and Subaru is seven, which means Subaru wasn’t even alive when Christ Illusion came out, and neither of them were born yet when God Hates Us All was released.
And yet, here they are, totally slaying shit with a cover of “Raining Blood” (their mommy and daddy are contributing the guitars and bass from off-camera). It’s adorable and it’s impressive and if you’re Paul Bostaph it’s probably scary as fuck, ’cause the second Kerry King finds out Hayato is willing to play drums for the band at a lower rate, Bostaph is gonna be out of the job again.
