Ever wish you could hire a bunch of face-painted English dudes to wake you up in the morning with blackened chug-riffs and symphonic vocals and blastbeats? As far back as I can remember, I’ve needed something just a bit stronger to get my day started. Well, Sidious’ forthcoming Revealed In Profane Splendour might even replace my infamous breakfast of coffee + smoke + microwaved bacon strips!  It’s got the cottonmouth-quenching quality we look for in our AM consumables. Later in the day, we only need relief and relaxation — and luckily Revealed In Profane Splendour’s sonic shitstorm plays damn fine no matter the time. Maybe it’s because we love the waking power of bitterness and the juxtaposing power of umami satisfaction. Or maybe it’s cause we’re hungover.
