Here’s a New Xerath Lyric Video + Full Album Stream

Xerath’s new album III has been woefully under-promoted, at least in the U.S.: it came out on September 16th but until then there was just one track, “I Hold Dominion,” released for public consumption. One of the year’s best progressive death metal albums is slipping under your radar and you don’t even know it… because it’s slipping under your radar, duh.

But fear not! Metal Injection is here with a lyric video premiere of “2053,” a mid-tempo banger that’s got a “slow, deep and hard groove” (mmmm) and an intro riff that vaguely reminds me of Alice in Chains’ “Them Bones.” It’s a good representation of what the album has in store, and you’re gonna love it.
