Entire Gone Girl Score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Available for Streaming
We’re just two days away from David Fincher’s cinematic adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel Gone Girl! The movie premiered last week at the New York Film Festival to overwhelmingly positive reviews, so hopefully it will redeem Fincher for his underwhelming version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
More importantly to metal fans, though: Gone Girl comes with a score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, collaborating with Fincher for the third film in a row now (after The Social Network and Dragon Tattoo). The score was actually released earlier this week and is already streaming on Spotify, but for the three of you who still haven’t subscribed to that service, you can stream it now via NPR. Alas, despite what posters for the film may have suggested, it does not contain a cover of Cinderella’s “Don’t Know What You Got (Till it’s Gone).” But is just as creepy and foreboding as you’d want the music that accompanies this rather unsettling tale to be.
And for those of you who do have Spotify, well… enjoy the soundtrack below:
