“Chapter Four”: New Video for Old Avenged Sevenfold is a Trip

Last month, Hopeless Records reissued Avenged Sevenfold’s Waking the Fallen with some bonus material under the name Waking the Fallen: Resurrected; now they’ve released a video for one of the original tracks from that album, “Chapter Four.” This is actually my favorite song off of Fallen, but even if it wasn’t, the clip would be worth watching, because it’s comprised of live footage which was shot sometime around the album’s original release in 2003. AND it’s edited in such a way that you can actually see what the hell is going on (mostly)! So the video not only allows you to marvel at young these dudes all look (and they barely would have been above the legal drinking age at that point), but, depending on when you discovered A7X, it’ll either give you a sense of what they were like live at that point in their career, or it will let you vicariously experience something you never got to see for yourself.
