Violince: The New Ne Obliviscaris Track “Reveries From the Stained Glass Womb” is Absolutely Gorgeous
Did you enjoy “Painters of The Tempest Pt II, Movement III: Curator,” the first new song we got to hear from Ne Obliviscaris’s upcoming album Citadel? Then check this one out, too: “Reveries From the Stained Glass Womb,” a brand new track streaming right now at Metal.de.
This track is violinist Tim Charles’ moment to shine: his haunting, delicate, nuanced leads carry the melody and are prominent throughout the tune, while a classical/flamenco-ish acoustic guitar provides the foundation beneath. Absolutely gorgeous. That link again: right here.
By the way, if the audio quality of “Curator” from a couple of weeks ago bothered you like it did me, it appears as if Season of Mist has replaced it with a much better-sounding version. Listen here.
Citadel comes out on November 11th in the U.S. and November 7th in the rest of the world.
