Two More Heavy Metal Athletic Shirt Designs from Under Armour
Under Armour must be quite satisfied with current endorsee Johan Hegg of Amon Amarth for spreading their brand to the metal masses.
Either that or the heavy metal-inspired athletic shirts designed by Jonathan Bergeron (aka Johnny Crap) they released over the summer (here and here) are selling gangbusters. Because they’ve just decided to release two more! It’s not clear whether Johnny Crap designed these two as well (they aren’t shown on his Tumblr), but they’re pretty sweet nonetheless, and will further ensure that no girls whatsoever are interested in you at the gym.
I immediately purchased the “Treestand Hunter” design when it came out over the summer, and rocked it this past Saturday along with my camo Pantera cap in the old man baseball (not softball!) club I play in. It was quite the get-up; either I looked like a total badass or a total buffoon, not quite sure, but I did go 1-for-4 and smoked a would-be double down the line that just veered foul… so there’s that.
Under Armour needs to contract a designer to make an official Amon Amarth t-shirt — would buy!
