We Have a Lot of New Info on the New Bloodbath Album (But We Still Don’t Know Who the Singer Is)
This fall is gonna be a DVDA-level of overstuffed with potentially killer releases: new albums from At the Gates, Machine Head, Devin Townsend, Godflesh, Revocation, Anaal Nathrakh, Black Crown Initate, and a few billion others I’m sure I’m forgetting will now be joined by Grand Morbid Funeral, the new Bloodbath album about a funeral of above-average morbidity. It comes out November 17 on Peaceville.
Metal Hammer broke the news, along with this with crappy little image of the cover art, which otherwise looks pretty cool:
Of course, what they didn’t reveal was the identity of Bloodbath’s new singer — they’re holding that information until this coming Tuesday, September 16, so that we all have to write about Bloodbath twice in five days. Marketing, y’all.
ANYWAY, unless it turns out they hired Mr. Hoodie from Thy Art is Murder or something silly like that, this album oughta put the “fun” in Funeral. Stoked!
