Black Veil Brides: Still Garbage
Black Veil Brides have released “Heart of Fire,” their new anthem about the ills of eating too much spicy food and the first single from their forthcoming album, IV. The record was produced by Bob Rock, whose other credits include Mötley Crüe’s Dr. Feelgood, The Cult’s Sonic Temple, Bon Jovi’s Keep the Faith, Skid Row’s Subhuman Race, and, of course, the Metallica albums no one really likes.
Asked why he opted to work with Black Veil Brides, Rock told MetalSucks, “They met my quote.”
No, no, I’m just kidding.
Asked why he opted to work with Black Veil Brides, Rock told MetalSucks, “I wanted to make something even shittier than St. Anger.”
Noooooo, of course I’m still kidding.
Asked why he opted to work with Black Veil Brides, Rock told MetalSucks, “They have my family. Please help.”
Okay, okay, I’ll stop joking around.
In fact, allow me to be deadly serious: the song fucking tongues filthy pig taint. If you had played it for me without telling me who it was, I would have guessed Nickelback, only Nickelback totally phoning it in. Which is really something, given that Nickelback’s entire career is based on phoning it in. I guess they’d be conference calling it in, then. This song sucks THAT bad.

Black Veil Brides’ IV comes out the same day on which you’ll spend your money on virtually anything else instead. Each purchased copy of the album comes with a heavy dose of embarrassment five to ten years from now.
