April Sky are Great at Marketing, Making Music Videos

Reader Max S. sent us the below video from some unknown band, and I’m sharing it with you now because it’s the second best kind of video from an unknown band — one that is terrible and funny although there’s no indication it means to be. (The best kinds of videos from unknown bands, of course, are the ones that are actually good.)

The problem is, I can’t tell you a damned thing about the band. The video is labeled simply “April Sky,” which I’m assuming is the name of the group but could very well be the name of the song. The description on YouTube reads simple, “Single from the upcoming album April Sky.” A Google search for April Sky only led me to a Vinnie Moore song, a Christian ministry, and a young Chinese woman who likes Monet. It is as though the band were legally obligated to upload the video to YouTube, but they knew how terrible it was, so they decided to cover up their tracks.

Either that, or they’re just dumb.

I’ll let you decide which answer is correct.
