Hey, Gear Nerds: Get Your Summer NAMM Coverage Here!

The annual January NAMM Show in Anaheim steals all the headlines for new announcements from musical instrument and accessory companies and big name artist appearances, but did you know that NAMM has a show every summer, too? It takes place in Nashville every July, and though it’s much smaller than its West Coast counterpart most of the big manufacturers have a presence, and a lot of smaller, lesser-known more boutique-style companies debut products as well.

Trey Xavier of MS sister site Gear Gods traveled to Summer NAMM last month and did a helluva job filming all the new products, artist appearances and other shenanigans that went on in Nashville. All of that coverage can be found here, with a few selected highlights below: a performance by Jeff Loomis (and then a video of the man himself talking about his new signature model Schecter), a rundown of the Blakhart Guitars product line (used by members of Gwar and Deicide), and a very entertaining video of Trey getting fitted for some Ultimate Ears in-ear monitors.
