New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Latest Out-of-Place Public Figure to Attend a Trash Talk Show

Following in the footsteps of comedian Katt Williams, record biz impresario/recent shooting victim Suge Knight, and some crazy dude who pissed into his own mouth, New York City May Bill de Blasio recently attended a Trash Talk performance as part of Brooklyn’s Afropunk Fest, reports Lambgoat. Here’s a photo of hizzoner apparently enjoying the show quite a bit:

The mayor’s entertainment selection may or may not have had something to do with the fact that his daughter, Chiara de Blasio, is a dyed in the wool metal fan. He also may have just lost a bet or something. I dunno.

What I would like to know, however, is why Trash Talk seem to have all the luck when it comes to attracting this kind of attention. Is it good karma? A deal with the devil? An amazing publicist? The non-metal community’s natural attraction to alliteration? Speculate in the comments section below.
