Abysmal Dawn: Anything But “Inanimate”

It’s a good day for awesome new music: first Baptists released a new song, then Anaal Nathrakh released a new song, and now Abysmal Dawn have released a new song. We’re gonna pay for this in some awful karmic way. There’s no way the Metal Gods are just dumping all this terrific stuff on us free of charge. Just you watch: tomorrow Napalm Death will announce a co-headlining tour with Falling in Reverse, or Five Finger Death Punch will release a surprise album, or Thy Art is Murder will become hugely popular (oh wait fuck).

ANYWAY, we can at least bask in the glow while it lasts. So: Abysmal Dawn’s new single, “Inanimate.” Holy shit, it rules. It’s a marchingelephantsnado, one of those songs with sexcellent groove and swirling riffs that just demand head banging. There are not enough letter “Q”s on the internet to accurately portray its siqqness.
