Video: Decapitated Play “Blasphemous Psalm to the Dummy God Creation” Live for the First Time Ever
A couple of weeks ago Decapitated premiered a brand new song called “Blasphemous Psalm to the Dummy God Creation,” their first in three years since the universally praised Carnival is Forever. Despite the presence of new drummer Michal Lysejko — replacing Kerim “Krimh” Lechner, who left the band in late 2012 — I think everyone agreed that the new song sounds pretty much like we’d all expect a new Decapitated song to sound.
So how does it hold up in the live context? Fans at the Sliwka Fest in Poland this past Friday night had the opportunity to watch Lysejko and the band perform “Dummy” live for the very first time. The audio on this fan-filmed clip isn’t great, but for the most part the song sounds pretty tight. I don’t like it any more or less than I did the first time around; mostly it just makes me want to hear the rest of what Blood Mantra has in store!
Check it below, with the album audio version posted directly below it for reference.
