Lamb of God’s Chris Adler Makes it Officially Official: “I Have No Involvement In Slipknot’s New Record”

I don’t think this should surprise anyone, given that we reported as much just two days ago. But in case you somehow STILL had your hopes up that Lamb of God’s Chris Adler is the new drummer for Slipknot, read this statement Adler posted last night on Facebook:

“I’ve received even more questions about my involvement with Slipknot since the ABC interview I did recently. The interview was originally about my new whiskey bar, but of course took a turn into the gossip of the day. As I told her, I’ve had and have nothing to do with it. I’m flattered with the association and comparisons, but I have no involvement in their record.”

So, there ya have it. Let’s all shut up about it now.

In related news, I want to go to Chris Adler’s whiskey bar and drink whiskey with Chris Adler. I promise not to turn into an adoring fanboy punisher until I’ve had at least four drinks. I think I can hold out that long. Maybe three drinks. Or two. Definitely no fewer than one.
