Gear Gods Contest: Win $4,000 to be the Next JamPlay Guitar Instructor

You may recall that Gear Gods have an ongoing contest to become the next JamPlay guitar instructor, your lessons nestled comfortably in their website next to the likes of Tosin Abasi, Steve Stevens, Emil Werstler, Bumblefoot, and more. But what you may not have been aware of is that you won’t simply be smiling in your place of glory next to those guitar superheros: you’ll be paid like them as well.

Here’s the deal: the contest winner will be flown out to JamPlay HQ in Colorado (well, unless you already live there), where you will have your lessons professionally filmed for 3 days. Then the enlightenment of your teachings will live on for millions to bask in (and for those millions to maybe say, “Yo, this person is a mad sick guitar teacher, what bands is this person in because I need to make that band my favorite of all time and steal all of their records!”). But hey, you’re a world champion guitarist now, not one of those chump up-and-comers who works for free. In accordance with your newfound bump in status, JamPlay will pay you $4,000 for your time.

So here’s what you have to do: Create one short lesson guitar lesson video (2-5 minutes in length), upload it to your YouTube channel, and then paste it into the entry form on Gear Gods.

Your lesson should be distilled tutorial perfection: informative, concise, interesting, personable, and if you can put your own unique stamp on it then go for it (but please no gimmicks). Gear Gods will be accepting submissions from today through the end of August, and then we turn the best of the best to face reader judgement on September 15. Enter now!!!
