Abysmal Dawn and Nero Di Marte Have Announced New Albums!
Death metal fans are in for a good autumn: two of the genre’s most impressive bands, Absymal Dawn and Nero Di Marte, have both announced new releases! Here are details:
- Abysmal Dawn’s latest offering, Obsolescence, will be released October 28 on Relapse; in case you’re rrrreeeeaallllyyy thick, that’s the cover art above. I’ve already heard this one so I can already tell you that, yes, it does indeed kick a great number of ass cheeks. Guitarist/vocalist Charles Elliott assures fans that “we aren’t singing about rainbows, puppies and the girl next-door on this one,” although I’d pay good money to hear an Abysmal Dawn song about rainbows and puppies. ANYWAY, mark this shit in your calendar, it’s really good.
- Nero Di Marte have announced that their sophomore offering, Derivae, will be out this fall on Prosthetic. Even without a firm release date, that’s great news, and the band scores extra points ’cause it’s only been a year since the release of their totally killer self-titled debut. Gotta love that turnaround speed!
We will, of course, let you know as soon as there’s music from these records to be heard. In the meantime, you can just stroke yourself in anticipation.
