Exclusive Worldwide Online Premiere: The Haunted’s “Time (Will Not Heal)”
The Haunted should be dead — or, at the very least, they should now totally suck. In 2012, the band lost 3/5ths of their line-up, the kind of trauma from which many bands don’t recover. So the fact that Exit Wounds (surely an intentional reference to the “exit” of departing members), the group’s first full-length since the personnel changes, is so damned good is impressive on multiple levels. It’s not just that The Haunted managed to churn out an LP’s worth of killer melodeath — it’s that they managed to do so in the midst of this seismic shift. There’s a reason these dudes have long represented the very best that Sweden’s revered metal scene has to offer.
MetalSucks is proud to present the worldwide online premiere of “Time (Will Not Heal),” a moshtastic new track from Exit Wounds. It’s powered by a riff that will grab you by the throat from the second it starts, and only tighten its grip as the song continues. If you haven’t heard anything from Exit Wounds yet, it will totally sell you on The Haunted 2014… and if you have already heard previous singles from Exit Wounds, it will make you just that much more excited for the record’s release.
Stream “Time (Will Not Heal)” below. Exit Wounds comes out on August 25 in Europe and September 2d in North America via Century Media. Pre-order it here!
