The Acacia Strain’s Witch is Coming

So: various members of various bands, including Every Time I Die, Miss May I, and Betraying the Martyrs have been posting some very Slipknot-esque “spooky” videos, along with the hashtag #thewitchiscoming and a url leading to this website, which is counting down two months and some change. According to The PRP, “The general consensus seems to be that it is a promo campaign for the new album from The Acacia Strain,” although there’s no actual confirmation of that. It makes sense, though — TAS have released an album every two years since 2002, and their last album, Death is the Only Mortal, came out in 2012, so they’re due.

While we await the answer to this mystery, you can watch the aforementioned teaser videos below. Be careful, ’cause like I said, they’re real spooky, and I wouldn’t want you to have nightmares. (Sorry, that last bit was for children ages six and under. I don’t think this will give anyone else nightmares.)
