Someone Get Protokult a Beer!

Are Protokult any good? I’m the wrong person to ask — they play folk/pagan metal, and that is just not my bag.

I will say this: they’ve got a good sense of humor, and they sound top-notch, thanks to production by our pal, Glenn Fricker from Spectre Sound Studios, who assures me that the recording was completed with “minimal digital fuckery.” Plus, any band that’s video features a corseted flautist stealing a couple of ladies away from the dudes hitting on them at the bar can’t be that bad, right?
