Mortals Check Out the “View From a Tower”

On Friday night, I saw Mortals plays at The Acheron in Brooklyn. I wasn’t expecting to go to the show, so I didn’t have any ear plugs with me, and I’m an idiot, so it didn’t even occur to me that they probably sold ear plugs at the venue (which they do). The band was SO FUCKING LOUD that they made my vision rattle, and at one point, I thought I might puke.

Needless to say, I had a totally killer time, and I highly recommend you see the band live ASAP.

If you’re not yet hip to Mortals, you must check out their new video for “View From a Tower,” which premiered earlier today on Metal Injection. The rest of the band’s Relapse debut, Cursed to See the Future (out now), is just as ferocious. (There’s a bare ass in here, so you might wanna consider it NSFW.)
