Tom Araya Once Tried to Film Kerry King Having Sex
When you think of 80s metal bands doing crazy sex shit, you usually think of cock rock groups like Mötley Crüe and Poison, don’t you? The dudes in those bands were bona fide, mainstream rockstars. And half their songs were girls and feelings and all that other sensitive shit, so they’d presumably attract more women than, say, Slayer, who looked like they’d just escaped from prison and wrote songs about death, death, and, sometimes, death, none of which are topics generally considered to be “romantic.”
And yet, as part of a new Playboy featured entitled “How to Have Sex Like a Rock Star,” Kerry King shares this fun little story:
“In the ’80s I found a lady to take back to my room, and when we got to my room she told me that she didn’t want to make a porno with me. I had no idea what she was talking about and we went back and forth for a few minutes. Finally, I looked around the room and saw Tom [Araya], my singer, with his video camera rolling! That was pretty much the end of the sexcapade.”
Which is both hilarious and creepy. Still very minor in comparison to Mötley Crüe, but hilarious and creepy nonetheless.
