Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats To Tour North America for the First Time

I came to the Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats party a little late — and by “a little late,” I mean I really just got into their album Blood Lust about a month ago, when a bruh cranked it at a Memorial Day cookout. They’re not the world’s most original band, sure, but fuck me naked with a spoon, the songs they write are catchy. They’re definitely a cut or two above your average retro-Sabbath-whatever metal bands.

So, terrific news: these Brits have announced their first-ever North American trek! The Acid Across America Tour will kick off in September. Support will come from Danava, another retro-y band with whom I’m not familiar. So maybe on July 4th someone will put their record on and it will kick my ass.
