Too Soon? Axl’s Best of 2014… So Far
As we near July, it’s time for the staff of MetalSucks to take stock of all those albums that have been rocking our faces off so far this year. There doesn’t seem to be a theme to my own personal faves of 2014 thus far, which features death metal, grindcore, thrash, noise rock, hair metal, and at least one album that barely qualifies as being metal at all. The lesson: great songwriting wins the day again!
Here, in alphabetical order, are albums I sincerely hope you’ve checked out or are planning on checking out very soon… the back of 2014 has so many promising releases slated that it’s hard to imagine some of these won’t get knocked off of my final list. But that doesn’t mean they’re not gnarly. Don’t miss out!!!
