Will Liam Wilson someday be credited with acting as the anti-Beavis and Butt-head who made Winger cool again? First, The Dillinger Escape Plan bassist gave the hair metal band’s new album, Better Days Comin’ , a glowing review, and now he’s interviewed Winger’s own bassist and namesake, Kip Winger, for The Talkhouse‘s podcast. It’s a llllloooongggg talk and I’m only partway through it as I write this, but I’m already recommending it as a must-listen: the chat starts out being about the lack of creative risk taking in rock music, a topic near and dear to MetalSucks’ own heart.
