This Song is a “Prototype” of How Great the New Septicflesh Album is
Septicflesh have been teasing their new album Titan for so long now that I had to make sure it hadn’t come out already when I saw they were releasing another new song. Our own Dave Mustein reviewed it a couple of weeks back (and liked it!), yet this bad boy still won’t be officially released for a good four weeks.
So, here’s that new song. It’s called “Prototype” and it’s epic as fuqq — that string section courtesy of the Prague Philharmonic brings this track to the next level. I really like Titan, probably more than Mustein did (although I understand his criticisms), and I think “Prototype” is the perfect encapsulation of everything that’s great about the album as a whole.
Titan will be released on June 20 in The UK/Europe via Season of Mist and on June 24 in North America via Prosthetic. Another new track called “Order of Dracul” can be streamed here. Pre-orders are available here.
