This is What it Sounds Like When Dream Theater’s “Erotomania” is Played Entirely on Children’s Toy Instruments

There’s a band that specializes in covers played entirely using children’s instruments? Of course there is. They’re called Plastica. And they wear silly hats. And we know this video is old but please give us a late pass for just discovering it now.

Here’s a video of Plastica playing Dream Theater’s 1994 Awake classic “Erotomania” [via Gear Gods] on what looks like a toy keyboard, a cheap ukulele a single drum, a maraca and some [presumably/hopefully not children’s] beer bottles. It’s pretty good! Things get sloppy around the 4 minute mark when they hit they limitations of their instruments, but they soldier through it like the champs that they are.
