Marty Friedman and Shining’s Jørgen Munkeby Put You On a “Meat Hook”
Speaking of delightfully weird: this new Marty Friedman jam, “Meat Hook,” features Shining’s Jørgen Munkeby on sax, and, yes, things get kinda bizarre, but in a really, really awesome way. I mean, right around the 1:15 mark, it starts to sound like the music they’d play over some soft-core porn on Skinamax; it’s SO SEXY that I think you could probably convince someone that it’s The Sexy Sax Man playing, not Munkeby.
Also, Marty Friedman continues to shred the world’s face off. Dude is some kind of magician, I tell ya.
Stream “Meat Hook” below. It will appear on Friedman’s new album, Inferno, which comes out May 27 on Prosthetic.
