Metal Injection Fires Diss Track at Emmure’s Frankie Palmeri
The fact that Emmure wrote a track about Metal Injection — using a sample from their Livecast, no less — pretty much made Rob’s year! Not even kidding. The only way it could’ve been any better is if it came hand-delivered by a bike messenger with a big fat doob of California’s finest taped to the cover.
So, naturally, the guys and gal at the Metal Injection Livecast are having a little fun with it: they’ve written a diss track, appropriately set to the backing track of Limp Bizkit’s “Take a Look Around” (aka the Mission Impossible theme), in which they fire a series of dirty/hilarious insults Frankie’s way. That line about The Acacia Strain, though!
First, a little context. Here’s the original Emmure track “Free Publicity,” which is apparently a reaction to this interview Frankie Palmeri gave Metal Injection:

And now Metal Injection’s response:

What will happen next? Will Palmeri get some of his Queens chums to throw some steel chairs into the ring, WWF style?
