Two or three times in your life you’ll encounter a huge, mean dude whose presence scares you all the way down to your DNA. It’s to your advantage to hide your fear — to hide everything — and start mapping imminently necessary exit routes. This guy could stomp you with little notice.

Also likewise, you tip your friends to the threat, but make no sudden movements until the dust settles and you’re safe to high five in relief. Then life suddenly appears more vivid than moments before. Your eyes are wide, yet you know that you’ll be hoping to experience the rampage again and comprehend its horrible power. Think of those records now, the ones that blew you over in seconds flat. Hate Eternal? Behemoth? Strapping Young Lad? Eskhaton! U fucking jam!
