Video of the Night Flight Orchestra Performing Live in Sweden!

Getting a show together for dad rock supergroup extraordinaires the Night Flight Orchestra is no small feat: the schedules of Soilwork, Arch Enemy and the members’ various other bands must align perfectly, plus these guys probably wanna chill out and spend time with friends and family when they’re not on the road with their day job bands, ya know? So, just how rare of an event is one of their shows? So much so that Bjorn “Speed” Strid didn’t even mask the fact that he doesn’t know all of NFO’s soulful, sweet words by heart: there’s a music stand right in front of him, stage center in the footage you’re about to watch.

But the rock cannot be stopped! The band that made my fourth favorite album of 2012 got together to perform a show in Helsingborg, Sweden in late March, and judging from some decent fan-filmed footage it was quite the rockin’ time! Wish I was there, and wish we could get these guys this side of the Atlantic for some Transatlantic Blues.
