Watch Converge’s Gorgeous, Bizarre New Video for “Precipice” / “All We Love We Leave Behind”

I’m not sure that I completely understand Converge’s new, Craig Murray-created video, which is jointly for the tracks “Precipice” and “All We Love We Leave Behind.” But given all the animal imagery* and the fact that the band is selling an accompanying t-shirt to raise funds for the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA, I’m assuming it has something to do with Man’s connection to Animals. In any case, the video is beyond beautiful. Maybe, like so many of Jacob Bannon’s lyrics, the video is something you’re meant to feel, not “understand.”

Both “Precipice” and “All We Love We Leave Behind” appear on All We Love We Leave Behind, which is out now on Epitaph.

*And, no, I don’t just mean how hairy the actor’s torso is.
