Fan-Made Claymation Video for Clutch’s “Wolfman” is So Good, the Band Made it Official

The fantasy of a thousand YouTubers is now a reality for Clutch fan Curtis Hein. See, Hein made the below claymation video for Clutch’s “The Wolfman Kindly Requests…”, from their most recent album, Earth Rocker. And even though the video wasn’t actually commissioned by the band, they apparently dug it so much that they put their official stamp on it — and are even going to include the clip on this summer’s deluxe re-release of Earth Rocker. That’s certainly another check in the “Clutch are Rad Dudes!” column, but Hein definitely earned the honor; I can’t even imagine how much work must have gone into making this thing. It’s amazing. The new edition of Earth Rocker comes out June 10 on Weathermaker Music. In addition to the original, already kick-ass album and the above video, it will feature two previously-unreleased tracks from the band’s original Earth Rocker recording sessions.
