Animals as Leaders, Conquering Dystopia, Chon Announce Tour

Did you miss Animals as Leaders and Chon on their winter tour with After the Burial and Navene K? Well, fret not! Both bands are hitting the road again, this time with Conquering Dystopia — Jeff Loomis and Keith Merrow’s instrumental death metal project — and they’re hitting some of the smaller markets they missed the first time around, skipping the usual big-market suspects (NYC, Chicago, Detroit, etc) entirely. And hey, Floridians — rejoice! Finally a tour is coming to you! This tour also hits Bonnaroo, which should be interesting to say the least.

And hey, all three bands are instrumental, look at that! I snapped the below picture of some kid with his jaw literally hanging open during Felix Martin’s set at SXSW, and I imagine this is what the audience will look like during this tour:
